We have a simple school uniform that children should wear from Reception onwards. The colours are electric blue, grey and white.
Grey pinafore dress, skirt or trousers, white polo shirt and electric blue sweatshirt or cardigan, white or grey socks and black sensible shoes or plain black trainers. Children can wear grey shorts or a blue and white checked dress in Summer.
There is also a PE uniform which should be worn to school on the relevant PE day. This comprises of an electric blue jumper or hoodie, navy shorts or jogging bottoms, white T-shirt and black trainers.
We ask that children do not wear jewellery in school. The only exception to this is that stud earrings and watches may be worn, but the school does not accept responsibility for their safety.
All items of clothing must be marked with the child’s name. It is advisable to use either a permanent marker pen or sewn in name tapes for this purpose.
Fairway Graphics are able to supply embroidered uniform and bags. You may choose to purchase uniform without the school logo from other outlets such as supermarkets.
We encourage the use of Normanton School Uniform Exchange to keep the costs of school uniform down for parents and carers. High quality pre-worn uniform is available for free or a donation if you choose to The Well. Although the shop is currently closed the Uniform Exchange can be contacted on the details below and we regularly invite Tracey into school with uniform supplies.
