Early Years Foundation Stage

In 2025 67% of children achieved a Good level of Development at the end on the Early Years Foundation Stage which is in line with nationally published data (68%). (2025)

 

Phonics Screening Check (Year 1)

In 2025 82% of pupils in Y1 met the phonic check threshold compared to 75% nationally. (2025)

 

Key Stage One (Year 2)

Children in Key Stage 1 no longer take Statutory Assessments in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. We do track this data in school however through teacher assessment. The last national data available is from July 2022.

We are very proud of the children's achievements at the end of their journey with us at Martin Frobisher Infants during the academic year 2025. 

Reading

In 2025 81% of pupils were working at the expected standard, compared to 67% nationally (2022) and 56% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 18% nationally.(2022).

 

Writing

In 2025 73% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 58% nationally,(2022). and 46% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 8% nationally.(2022).

 

Mathematics

In 2025 88% of pupils were working at the new expected standard, compared to 68% nationally, (2022). and 52% of pupils were working at greater depth, compared to 15% nationally. (2022).

 

In 2025 71% of pupils at Martin Frobisher Infant School were working at the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics. (National 2022 = 53%)

 

In 2025 39% of pupils at Martin Frobisher Infant School were working at greater depth in reading, writing and mathematics. (National 2022 = 6%)
